NOVELLA FILM FESTIVAL 2025

Thank you to everyone who attended NFF25, our 4th annual festival event! It was a fabulous day full of warmth, community and of course incredible films. A huge congratulations to our 10 winners, who you can find below, we were so proud to screen this shortlist and it was such a treat to meet so many of the talented filmmakers behind it.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and made the day one to remember. And of course thank you to the beautiful Chiswick Cinema for being the best hosts!

Novella is an international short film festival that drives creativity and inclusivity, with a strong focus on the power of storytelling. We want to empower filmmakers whose stories and communities are underrepresented on screen, as well as behind the camera. ⁠

We have ten diverse categories that aim to bring together filmmakers from different mediums and different walks of life, and we award high value cash prizes to all ten winners, as our main goal is always to allow filmmakers to continue doing what they love. ⁠
